What You Will Be Doing, as Technical Inside Sales:

• Responsible for providing sales and technical support, such as sizing and selection of drives, or executing troubleshooting procedures. To provide information about technical aspects of products, to staff of all levels within the company, as well as to customers.
• Performs a variety of customer service-related activities to promote positive customer relations and recurring business e.g., responds to all customer enquiries as they pertain to product selection, requirements for technical advice or price quotations; provides technical guidance and pricing information as required. Process orders with consideration of customer requirements, inventory availability and production capacity.
• Perform selection and sizing of power transmission systems based on customer specification. The power transmission system includes but is not limited to: geared motors, servo motors, planetary gear units, linear and ball screw motors, variable frequency drives and associated components, decentralized drive systems and automation controllers
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues with Sew Eurodrive products via telephone and e-mail.
• Maintains accurate files of data, order confirmations, technical information, correspondence, etc. in order to facilitate timely and accurate retrieval

What You Should Have, as Technical Inside Sales:

• Excellent communication skills - Routine communication with people inside (sales staff, production) and outside the company (customers, suppliers), receiving and giving information, in the process of inquiring, counseling, and instructing on the use, performance and overall results of a particular drive.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Ability to write technical reports for customers.
• Familiarity with programming languages
• Minimum of a 2 years technologist diploma in electrical or mechatronics engineering. The position requires a good understanding of physics (motion and velocity) and mathematics to perform the full range of functions in the job.
• The overall physical demands associated with this position are moderate. There will be lifting required at times as well as physical exertion at times when onsite. Walking or traveling by car is also required.
