Lamination Operator - (Permanent)

What You Will Be Doing, as a Lamination Operator:

  • Complete orders and assignments in a timely manner with high accuracy, ordering required materials from internal departments as necessary to reduce lost productivity.
  • Meet and exceed company and customer quality standards.
  • Perform job checks of the final product for other Laminator Operators, providing support when needed.
  • Set up required machine maintenance and perform routine preventative maintenance as per the process control sheets.
  • Completion of end of shift cleaning and organization of lamination station including, but not limited to, solvents, changing the garbage, and general tidying of the workstation.
  • Locate the process control sheet and use the settings as a starting point for the job, including treated rolls and correct orientation.
  • Set up glue stoppers as per the requirements for each job, reviewing dockets to verify glue weight and order specifications.
  • Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by performing safety circle checks on equipment, creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean.

What You Should Have, as a Lamination Operator:

  • High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent
  • Past working knowledge or experience working with a variety of Lamination environments and equipment, or other transferable machinery skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision
  • High level of personal integrity and accountability, with mutual respect in dealing and speaking with others
  • A positive outlook, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow as a person and team
