Production Assistant (Dairy) - Temp to Perm

About Our Client

Our client is a growing dairy in Adjala-Tosorontio that is looking to fill multiple roles for their current needs and growth.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Production Assistant

• Work in a cold environment 20% of the time
• Load empty skids with unfilled/clean bottles
• Unload filled and sealed bottles
• Load unfilled bottles into the bottling machines
• Assist with basic maintenance and adjusting capping machines (mechanically inclined)
• Receive incoming merchandise and ship finished products
• Inventory and cycle counting
• Create and make labels
• Lifting up to 30lbs
• Follow GMP
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Production Assistant

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $19/hour
• Paid weekly, every Friday. 1 week behind
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

• Monday to Friday
• 7am – 5:00pm – flexible to work 8 hours during this period

Where You Will Be Working, as a Production Assistant

• Adjala-Tosorontio
• Must have a ride or own transportation as there are no bus services in this area
