Cross Dock Dock Worker

About Our Client

Our client is a leader in the transportation and logistics industry. Some of their services include:

  • Cross-docking
  • Warehousing
  • Distribution

They are looking for an experienced forklift operator to join their team.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Dock Worker:

  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Sorting and palletizing freight
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Operating a pallet jack
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Adhering to all safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Dock Worker:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on a dock
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

In Return, You Will Receive:

  • $18.17 per hour
  • Overtime
  • Paid Weekly via EFT
  • 4% vacation pay, paid out directly

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

  • Monday to Friday 7:00am to 2:30 pm
  • Occasional Sundays

Where You Will Be Working, as a Dock Worker:

  • Calgary, AB (not bus accessible)
