What You Will Be Doing, as an Account Manager:
- Collaborating closely with branch customer sales to develop key opportunities and focusing on new and existing customers.
- Connecting, maintaining relationships by rapport building - It is imperative to do so with all current and potential customers in the assigned territory and other areas upon request.
- Keeping a close eye on sales in the office including some inside sales activity.
- Develop and maintain effective work relationships within and external to the company.
- Review any existing pricing tiers and compare them to your competitors' offerings, by initiating a competitive pricing and cost analysis.
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting your pricing strategy, understanding customer behavior, and implementing strategic price changes will help you meet your margin goals.
- Responsible for quoting jobs for customers (under management guidelines) including determining the cost of material, submittals, estimating, providing material specifications, and pricing to the customer.
What You Should Have, as an Account Manager:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate working knowledge of P&L, CRM systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ERP system.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork, multi-tasking, and leadership skills.
- Physical demands may include but are not limited to: Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; light lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Experience in the distribution and/or building and construction industry is preferred in the Work Environment Office and warehouse/fabrication environment.
- Ability to Travel.
What You Will Receive as an Account Manager:
- Salary range $100k - $130,000, with variables, uncapped.
