CWB Welder (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
About Our Client Our client is a leading industrial fabrication company, known for delivering high-quality custom metalwork and structural steel projects for various sectors.
What You Will Be Doing, as a CWB Welder:
- Perform welding on small and large bore components using SMAW and MCAW/FCAW processes.
- Work with P1 Group 1 & 2 materials, with potential for stainless steel work.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure all specifications are met.
- Weld in various positions as required by the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a CWB Welder:
- CWB certification in SMAW and MCAW/FCAW processes for all positions.
- B-Pressure welding certification.
- Certification for small and large bore welding.
- Experience welding P1 Group 1 & 2 materials.
- Stainless steel welding experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and communicate in English.
- Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs repetitively.
- Must provide your own basic hand tools.
- Good verbal communication.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Pay rate of $33.00/hour.
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Opportunity for permanent hire.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30 pm
- Overtime and occasional weekends available.
