CWB Welder (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
About Our Client Our client is a leading industrial fabrication company, known for delivering high-quality custom metalwork and structural steel projects for various sectors. 
What You Will Be Doing, as a CWB Welder:
  • Perform welding on small and large bore components using SMAW and MCAW/FCAW processes.
  • Work with P1 Group 1 & 2 materials, with potential for stainless steel work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Weld in various positions as required by the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a CWB Welder:
  • CWB certification in SMAW and MCAW/FCAW processes for all positions.
  • B-Pressure welding certification.
  • Certification for small and large bore welding.
  • Experience welding P1 Group 1 & 2 materials.
  • Stainless steel welding experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Must provide your own basic hand tools.
  • Good verbal communication.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions. 

In Return, You Will Receive:
  • Pay rate of $33.00/hour.
  • Paid weekly, every Friday.
  • Opportunity for permanent hire.
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.

The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am to 4:30 pm
  • Overtime and occasional weekends available.
