Content Supervisor – Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client:
We are seeking a Content Supervisor / Cleaner to join our client’s team in Barrie. They are a restoration company – so this is not an office job! You are out in the field, helping customers recover from various types of property damage, including fire, water, and natural disasters.
What you will be doing as a Content Supervisor:
- Supervise, mentor, and support cleaning staff.
- Coordinate daily scheduling and task assignments to meet project timelines.
- Monitor productivity, quality of work, and adherence to company standards.
- Provide training and guidance on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Clean and restore personal belongings (furniture, electronics, clothing, documents, etc.) damaged by fire, water, mold, or smoke.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and techniques, such as ultrasonic cleaning and HEPA vacuuming.
- Perform detailed hand-cleaning of delicate or high-value items.
- Pack out and transport contents from job sites to our facility for processing.
- Maintain a respectful, professional, and trustworthy presence in customers’ homes and businesses.
- Assist with property restoration tasks including cleaning, maintenance, and minor renovations if required.
- Create and oversee detailed inventories of affected items, including photographing and documenting condition.
- Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for management on job progress and project timelines.
- Communicate with project managers, and office staff as needed.
- Ensure all required paperwork and digital records are properly maintained.
What you should have as a Content Supervisor:
- Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction (supervisory experience considered a strong asset).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Computer skills – MS Office, Email
- Own your own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license - required.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to work a rotational on-call schedule.
In return, you will receive:
- $24.00 - $26.90 per hour depending on experience.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Staffing Resources Representative 7am to 10pm and on weekends
The shift you will be working is:
- Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm
- On-call schedule required
