MHE Reach and Dock Stocker – Days/Afts (Temporary to Permanent)

What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift Operator:

  • Movement, protection, storage and control of materials and products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Print/Read Picking slips from the system
  • Pulls and verifies materials and supplies on production orders.
  • Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
  • Will require 50% driving time and 50% general labour
  • Must be able and licensed to drive a Reach and Dock stocker machine
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Forklift Operator:

  • Being Bilingual is an asset but English must be your first language for this role.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ similar experience in a similar environment
  • Must have experience moving heavy equipment on a forklift
  • Must have a valid third-party forklift license for Reach and Dock stocker
  • Experience with TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) – certificate preferred but not required
  • Must have CSA safety boots/shoes

In Return, You Will Receive:

  • $21 per hour (based on experience)
  • Paid weekly, every Friday, 1 week behind
  • Opportunity for permanent hire
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Days – 7am – 3:30pm
  • ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15-minute breaks (paid)
  • Overtime as needed

  • Salaberry-de-Valleyfield – QC
