About Our Client

Our client is a leader in chemical products in the Cambridge area who is looking to grow and add a driven team member who is ready to grow with them.

What You Will Be Doing, as an Order Picker/Packer:

• Gathering products and items to fulfill orders for internal or external customers
• Ensure accuracy of picked orders
• Generate packing lists and shipping labels
• Manage and troubleshoot web-based EDI and shipping portals
• Uploading daily inventory updates
• Send shipping notifications daily according to retailer schedules
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performs all tasks in compliance to GMP standards and practices.
• Demonstrates good problem solving, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning and improvement.
• Maintains records and logs
• Works independently with little supervision
• Working with shipper/receiver, production and warehouse staff to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
• Required to perform other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as an Order Picker/Packer:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Strong reading skills with an emphasis on accuracy
• Ability to use computers and web-based shipping platforms
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment
• Communication skills to express concerns or ideas
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and lifting up to 50lb.
• Strong proficiency with English (verbal and written)
• Able to work independently
• Ability to establish and prioritize daily work schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and execute tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong self-initiative and work ethic.

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $20-$22/hour
• Paid weekly, every Friday 1 week behind
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am – 4:30pm

Where You Will Be Working, as an Order Picker/Packer:

• Cambridge ON
• Not bus accessible from all areas
