Warehouse Assembler (Contract) 
About Our Client
Our client is a key player in the retail solutions sector. The successful candidates will be integral to a project focused on warehouse setup and organization.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Warehouse Assembler:
  • Assist with the construction and assembly of warehouse racking systems. 
  • Handle basic, plug-and-play style electrical wiring for setups.
  • Load and unload materials and move them to designated work zones. 
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools. 
  • Maintain a clean and prepared work site by removing debris. 
  • Aid skilled team members with their tasks as needed. 
  • Perform general setup and cleanup duties at the job location. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of the team.

What You Should Have, as a Warehouse Assembler:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required, with at least one year of experience.
  • A background in general labor or construction is considered an asset. 
  • Familiarity with the assembly of racking systems or planning layouts.
  • A basic comprehension of plug-and-play wiring systems.
  • Must hold a valid WHMIS certification.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds. 
  • Proficiency in operating various tools and equipment. 
  • A reliable and punctual individual with a robust work ethic. 
  • A safety-first mindset with the ability to follow all regulations. 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for a fast-paced setting. 
  • Must have your own full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Background check required.

In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $19.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
  • Paid via EFT on 48 hours after confirmation of hours worked
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
 

The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Aug 25-29, Sept 2-Sept 5, Sept 8-12
  • 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, 30 minute lunch break

  • 72 ST &Progress Way, Delta, BC
