310T Licensed Truck Mechanic – Afternoon Shift
Our client has been supplying construction materials and fuel to Simcoe County for over 125 years.   • Diagnose, test, adjust, and repair systems of heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Examine, test drives and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform repairs and replace defective parts.
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Maintain inventory and restocks parts.
  • Perform emergency road repairs as required.
  • Submit records of repairs and preventative maintenance to Fleet Administrator.
  • May perform other general garage duties as needed
  • Must be a 310T licenced truck and coach technician.
  • Valid G driver’s licence is required. AZ or DZ is considered an asset.
  • Minimum two years related experience.
  • 310T License is required
  • Valid G drivers license is required. AZ or DZ is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Ready-Mix trucks are considered to be an asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems of general and advanced nature.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of engine repair, mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
Shift time for Licensed Truck Mechanic
  • Monday to Friday
  • 11am – 11pm

  • Compensation: up to $37.30 per hour based on experience.
  • Compensation is paid weekly.
