Fabrication Team Leader - Edmonton, AB – Permanent.

About Our Client: Our client is a top provider of large-scale insulation and building materials, while offering a high- quality service and solutions to meet customers’ needs. - Typically catering to construction projects or businesses that require substantial amounts of these materials. This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized go- getter that is calm under pressure and has a proven track record with leadership skill sets. You will be operating numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools to carry out complex, multi-step machining operations on a diverse range of parts, consistently achieving close and exact tolerances. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes, with the ability to read and interpret schematics, and utilize various hand tools and machinery. 

What You Will Be Doing, as a Fabrication Team Leader:
• Responsible for training other fabrication personnel, as needed.
 • Responsible for leading by example and with integrity. 
• Adherence to specifications, and timely completion of production schedules.
• Ensure all operations are conducted in strict compliance with safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement. 
• Responsible for coordinating fabrication activities and personnel to ensure efficient workflows. 
• Analyze production performance, adjust workflows, and allocate resources as needed to meet deadlines without compromising quality or    safety standards. 
• Under direction of the Productions Superintendent, direct personnel to move materials, fabricate at work cells, package finished goods. Physical demands may include but are not limited to: 
• High level of walking, standing, and or climbing. 
• Stopping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
• Work outside/inside around machinery with moving parts and vehicles. 
• Exposure to all seasons of weather, as well as slippery and uneven surfaces. 
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. 

What You Should Have, as a Fabrication Team Leader:
• 1 – 2 years of previous fabrication work experience. 
• 1 - 2 years of hands-on work experience operating a forklift and or a pallet jack. – Required.
 • Must have knowledge of methods for machining techniques and or related work experience. 
• Must be able to operate a forklift and or pallet jack – Required. 
• Must be able to safely operate measure devices – Required. 
• Intermediate with mathematics, writing is legible and can communicate with precise detail. 
• Professional acumen, leadership skills. 
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work well with a team, collaboratively for results.
• Advanced skill sets with delegating tasks, multitasking to meet deadline.

 What You Will Receive as a Fabrication Team Leader:
 • Base salary range of $50, 000 to $65,000, based on experience. 

The Shift You Will Be Working is: 
• Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
 • Bonus structure, with incentives. 
• Benefits package.
