Shipper Receiver – Certified Counterbalance Propane – Temporary


About Our Client

Our client is an industrial equipment supplier in the Innisfil area that is looking to add a Jack of all Trades to their group.


What You Will Be Doing, as a Shipper Receiver:

  • Processes the shipment to customers in a timely and effective manner
  • Load and unload delivery trucks throughout the day
  • Receive, locate, and stock parts
  • Pick and provide parts to Technicians in alignment with established processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and parts counting accurately
  • Daily cycle counts
  • Deliver or pick up parts locally as required (in company vehicle)
  • Process shop parts, warranty parts and vendor returns
  • Assist in some general facility maintenance
  • Provides additional warehouse backup support as required
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Shipper Receiver:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Shipper Receiver role or position in a Parts Department
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Forklift license Counterbalance Propane from a 3rd party training school
  • Experience with an inventory / word order computer system
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment parts is an asset
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal communication
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

In Return, You Will Receive:

  • $22/hour
  • Paid weekly, every Friday 1 week behind via direct deposit
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

  • Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm
