Office Manager – North York, ON (Permanent)

Our client is a leader in manufacturing construction rentals and installations– they are a family owned business that promotes growth and have been in business for over 30+ years. -They offer complete equipment services: sell, rent, install, service & train customers on the safe use of all our products. This opportunity is for a well rounded self motivated individual that is customer focused, highly proficient with organization skills, while being detail oriented. 

What You Will Be Doing, as an Office Manager:

  • Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, e-mailing, maintaining relationships with all office patrons. 
  • Experience delivering a high level of customer service on sales inquiries. 
  • Must be able to communicate critical information to upper management in a timely manner on special projects and daily duties. 
  • Prepare / pack completed orders for shipment by arranging courier or truck - prepare courier
  • Coordinate warranty and service inquiries with the team.
  • Manage part(s) inventory, updating quantities and re-ordering stock as required. 
  • Manage inventory of office supplies. 
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed. 
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures. (Safety Regulations). 

What You Should Have, as an Office Manager:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language. 
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in office administration/management. 
  • Have 3+ years’ experience working as an Office Manager/Supervisor or relatable experience. 
  • 2-5 years experience managing equipment in a construction-related industry. (preferably in rentals, but also you could also have experience in warehousing or transportation)
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Word/Excel, inventory software, etc. 
  • Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience in accounts receivable and payables.- (Asset) 
  • Ability to convey orders, process payments and invoicing. 
  • Valid G-class driver’s license and access to a vehicle. 
  • Able to work in a team environment or independent.

What You Will Receive as an Office Manager:

  • Salary range $50 -$60k, depending on experience. 
  • Benefits package after 3 months 

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
