About Our Client.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality construction materials, serving contractors and builders with a strong commitment to reliability and service. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting overall warehouse operations to keep up with industry demands.

What you'll be doing, as a Lead Shipping/Receiver:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to specifications.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment processes.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move products within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping and receiving processes for efficiency.

What you should have, as a Lead Shipping/Receiver:

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Forklift Certification

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $22.00 per hour
• Overtime opportunities.
• Weekly pay via EFT.
• 4% vacation pay, paid out directly.

The shift you will be working is:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Where you will be working, as a Lead Shipping/Receiver:

• Calgary AB.
