Construction Labour (Temporary/Day Position)
About Our Client
Our client partners with leading construction and development companies across the Vancouver area. They are known for maintaining safe, efficient, and productive job sites and are looking for reliable individuals to join their teams for various upcoming projects.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Construction Labour:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, drywallers, framers) with various tasks.
- Operating hand and power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
- Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas.
- Preparing construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, and ramps.
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Construction Labour:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a construction environment.
- Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Steel-toed boots, hard hat (Type-2 with Chin strap), and high-visibility vest.
- Valid CSTS, WHMIS and Fall Protection certification is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Good verbal communication.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Opportunity for permanent hire.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- Day Shifts (Typically 7:00 AM starts)
- Overtime may be available depending on project deadlines.
Where You Will Be Working, as a Construction Labour:
- Various sites across Vancouver, BC
- While some sites are transit accessible, having your own vehicle is preferred to ensure access to all job sites.
