Driver/Loader – Temp to Perm
About Our Client
Our client is a Waste Management company proudly Canadian owned and operated since 1970. They require hard-working, dedicated, physically fit team members!
What You Will Be Doing, as a Driver/Loader
- Driving a waste truck while stopping on rural and residential routes to collect organic waste, recyclables, yard waste and household garbage.
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment during shifts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving and working on-site.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely waste collection services.
- Driving AND getting out of the truck collecting waste/recycling
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Driver/Loader
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must possess a valid AZ-DZ license (class 3)
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal communication
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Be able to commit to long hours
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $23.39 + 4% vacation pay accrued PLUS an ERP (Employee Rewards Program)
- Overtime available
- Paid weekly, every Monday via EFT
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 6am – 6pm (overtime as needed per route)
