Welding/Assembly Machine Operator Temp to Perm
About Our Client:
Our client is a leader in manufactured precision parts and assembly components for the auto industry. With more than 25 years of manufacturing excellence in Barrie, ON. Operate metalworking machines, which shape and form metal into parts or products. Required to perform a variety of tasks involving physical labour in a manufacturing environment including operation of automated welding and assembly machines. Responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures in a safe manner following all workplace policies. Need to be adaptable, flexible, accountable and dependable, with good attention to detail, have a quality focus and work well with others.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Welding/Assembly Machine Operator:
- Operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
- Ensure safe work practices are employed at all times
- Follow written procedures, verbal instructions and complete documentation as required
- Monitor production to ensure product quality meets required specifications
- Clean up and preparation of work area
- Follow Company policies, best practices and procedures
- Perform other duties as required by the department supervisor
What You Should Have, as a Welding/Assembly Machine Operator:
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to perform physical labour, bending, lifting
- Experience working with quality systems (preferably TS 16949)
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Days/Aft Rotating Shift Pay is $17.10 - $17.65
- Steady Night Shift $18.10
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- Days/Afternoon Bi-weekly Rotation 6:30am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm – 10:30pm
OR
- Steady Night Shift 10:30pm-6:30am (Sunday night start, Friday morning end)
