Food Processor (Meat Products) – Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client
We are currently hiring Food Processors for our client in Hamilton/Hannon (bus accessible) to start ASAP – start as early as tomorrow! If you are comfortable working with meat products and in a refrigerated environment, please apply.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Food Processor (Meat Products):
- Working with raw and cooked meat products in a refrigerated environment
- Inspect perishable meat products on staging table – ensure proper specifications are met
- Follow HACCP and GMP guidelines to maintain a food-safe environment as per customer policies and procedures
- Processes orders for shipment in a timely and effective manner
- Build boxes
- Stand at a machine or assembly line and package meat products
- Manual material handling (load and unload pallets)
- Packing orders
- Receive, locate, and stock inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Food Processor (Meat Products):
- Ability to work with raw and cooked MEAT products
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Ability to communicate perfectly in English
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs (not consistently)
- Great at team work
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $17.60 per hour
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday shifts available
- Days & afternoons
- There is no guarantee of shifts but we try and provide a steady schedule
