Machine Operator (Gaskets) – Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a dedicated machine operator who has experience specifically in making gaskets.
What you will be doing as a Machine Operator (Gaskets):
- Setting up, calibrating, and adjusting production equipment for gasket production.
- Inspecting finished gaskets for defects, measuring with tools like calipers, and ensuring accuracy to specifications.
- Loading raw rubber or polyurethane materials and preparing equipment for operation.
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine malfunctions.
- Recording production numbers, material usage, and maintenance logs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and strictly adhering to occupational safety standards.
What you should have as a Machine Operator (Gaskets):
- Minimum of 1-2 years machine operator experience, specifically in making gaskets
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have proper PPE (safety vest, safety glasses, safety boots)
- Must be able to commit to full time work with the possibility of being hired on and growth with the client
In return, you will receive:
- $19.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Staffing Resources Representative 7am to 10pm and on weekends
The shift you will be working is:
- Monday to Friday – day shift
