About Our Client
Our client is a well-established event services company operating large-scale trade show and convention productions across Western Canada. With a strong reputation for delivering world-class event experiences, they rely on dependable, hardworking crew members to bring major exhibitions to life — from the first bolt to the final tear-out.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Temporary Event Setup Crew:
  • Assist with installation of booth carpet, pipe and drape systems
  • Set up tables, chairs, and exhibitor booth structures
  • Move materials, equipment, and event supplies throughout the venue
  • Support final event preparations and resolve any last-minute setup items
  • Assist with tear down and removal of booths, drape, carpet, tables, and equipment following the event
  • Load materials onto carts or dollies and transport to designated areas
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
  • Follow direction from on-site supervisors and event coordinators
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Temporary Event Setup Crew:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable performing physical work including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Steel toe footwear recommended (if required by site)
  • Previous event setup, general labour, or warehouse experience considered an asset — but not required
  • Must pass a criminal background check

In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $20.00 per hour
  • Paid weekly, every Friday
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
  • Opportunity for repeat/ongoing bookings as events are scheduled
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • May 8th to 15th
  • Shifts will vary depending on client needs.

Where You Will Be Working, as aTemporary Event Setup Crew:
  • Grand Prairie, AB – specific venue details provided upon placement
  • Work takes place indoors at a trade show and convention venue
  • Transportation required – location may not be accessible by transit
