Exhibitor Services Representative (Temporary to Permanent)

What You Will Be Doing, as an Exhibitor Services Representative:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for exhibitors (both online and onsite), providing professional guidance on services, logistics, and event procedures.
- Operate the Exhibitor Services Desk during events, proactively engaging with 30 to 300+ exhibitors per event to assist with orders, inquiries, and real-time issue resolution.
- Set up, manage, and maintain the online exhibitor ordering portal (via ConventionSuite), ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and deadlines.
- Guide exhibitors through the online ordering process for furniture, equipment, utilities, and custom signage, identifying upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Process payments (cash, checks, wire transfers, credit cards) and generate accurate exhibitor invoices in compliance with financial standards.
- Support exhibitors with material handling and shipping logistics, working closely with internal operations and venue partners to track and deliver freight efficiently.
- Partner with installation and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Collect and confirm event details with clients, coordinate needs with third-party vendors (AV, décor, etc.), and manage post-event reconciliation and invoicing.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as an Exhibitor Services Representative:
- 1-3 years’ experience in hospitality, retail, events, or a role involving direct, high-volume customer interaction is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, solutions-focused demeanor.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines and during high-pressure event periods.
- Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems; experience with NetSuite, ConventionSuite, or other ERP systems is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing orders, billing transactions, and event documentation.
- Must be able to lift or move light materials (signage, small boxes, etc.) up to 20-25 lbs as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, with travel required based on event schedules.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Paid weekly, every Tuesday.
- Excellent opportunity for permanent hire with an established, national company.
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Standard weekday hours, though flexibility for occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends is required during peak event seasons and travel periods.

- Abbotsford, BC (Office location)
- Please note: While the office is transit accessible, a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required for this role due to event-related travel and offsite scheduling.
