Finish Carpenter (Temporary to Permanent)

What You Will Be Doing, as a Finish Carpenter:
  • Performing high-quality interior finish carpentry inside modular structures, including installing trim, baseboards, casing, doors, windows, and custom cabinetry.
  • Measuring, cutting, and installing molding, drywall finishing, and hardware with high-precision accuracy.
  • Interpreting blueprints, layout sketches, and work orders to execute exact construction requirements.
  • Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools (miter saws, table saws, nail guns, etc.) to shape and assemble materials.
  • Collaborating with team leads and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
  • Keeping a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
    Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Finish Carpenter:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Finish Carpentry, Modular Manufacturing, or Fine Woodworking).
  • Strong proficiency with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high aesthetic standards.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must own basic hand tools and standard PPE (including CSA-approved steel-toed boots).
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Stable, year-round indoor work environment—never work in the freezing cold or rain!
  • Paid weekly, every Tuesday.
  • Opportunity for permanent hire.
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime may be available depending on production schedules.
Where You Will Be Working, as a Finish Carpenter:
  • Near Highway 16A & 266 Street (Acheson, AB)
  • Please note: This facility is situated in the Acheson Industrial Area and is NOT accessible by public transit. Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to and from work.
