About Our Client
Our client is a premier national retail services provider specializing in top-tier merchandising, store fixture installations, and retail environment transformations. Working with some of the most recognized retail brands in Canada, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality visual setups and seamless in-store executions that elevate the customer shopping experience.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Merchandiser:
  • Execute retail merchandising strategies, including stocking shelves, building displays, and organizing inventory.
  • Install and assemble retail store fixtures, shelving, and promotional displays according to planograms and schematics.
  • Collaborate with store teams and coordinators to ensure project specs are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Merchandiser:
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a retail merchandising, fixture assembly, or similar field-based retail role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to read and execute planograms.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow precise verbal and written instructions.
  • Physical strength and stamina (ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs).
 
In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $22.00  per hour (based on experience)
  • Paid weekly, every Tuesday.
  • Opportunity for permanent hire based on performance and reliability.
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Thursday Night: 7:00 pm start (8 to 10-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Thursday Night: 9:00 pm start (8 to 10-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Shift details: This is a consistent weekly schedule combining day and night shifts, with no weekend work required!
Where You Will Be Working, as a Merchandiser:
  • Nanaimo, BC
  • Please note: Due to the Thursday night shift finishing in the early morning hours, having a reliable personal vehicle is highly recommended as public transit options may be limited during late hours.
