About Our Client
Vertical Staffing Resources is seeking reliable and physically capable General Labourers to assist with the assembly and installation of the University of Alberta air-dome structure. This is a rigorous, outdoor, labor-intensive assignment requiring candidates to work effectively in variable weather conditions.
What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer:
- Assisting with the assembly and erection of the dome structure.
- Performing heavy-duty general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors.
- Consistently lifting and transporting materials weighing 50+ lbs.
- Maintaining physical stamina to stand, walk, and maneuver throughout the shift.
- Executing additional operational duties as assigned.
What You Should Have:
- Physical capacity to perform heavy manual labor in outdoor environments.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Applicable PPE:CSA approved Steel Toe boots, High vis vest & Gloves
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $20.00 per hour

The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Schedule TBD – This project is weather-dependent; dates and shift times are subject to operational adjustments.
- Day Shift (Standard start time at 8:00 AM)
- Overtime opportunities available based on project requirements.
