Heavy General Labourer – Temporary
About Our Client
We have various clients in the Guelph area needing some hardworking, heavy labouring staff. We have different positions from event staff, to furniture movers, to construction staff and more! If you are not afraid of hard work, getting your hands dirty and working different jobs every day/week, this is for you!
What You Will Be Doing, as a Heavy General Labourer:
- Working during events for set up/tear down
- Working on active construction sites doing basic labour and/or clean up
- Moving various materials – loading/unloading trucks
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Heavy General Labourer:
- You absolutely must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- You must have a minimum of 1 year experience that is relevant
- CSA Approved Safety shoes required
- Reflective vest, face mask & work gloves are required for some sites
- Some require a hard hat, but it is dependent on the job you are being offered
- Very strong communication skills in English is a must
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Up to $20.00 per hour based on experience, plus 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Frequently, day shift is available – typically 7am start
- Most are Monday to Friday
- Some projects require afternoons or nights as well
