Construction Labourer (Working at Heights)– Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client
Our client is a cabinet manufacturer. They are looking for a reliable individual to join the team on a new building project. For this project, you specifically need to have your Working at Heights Certification to show us and have on you at work.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Construction Labourer:
- Unloading cabinets from a delivery vehicle.
- Unwrapping packaging materials and preparing them for placement.
- Remove debris to designated location.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized workspace.
- Supporting the installation team with general labour tasks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Construction Labourer:
- Previous experience on a construction site is required.
- Valid Working at Heights Certification is required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have your own PPE - CSA Approved Steel Toed Boots, Hard Hat, High Visibility Vest, Safety Glasses.
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and safety focused.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $19.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out on request
- Paid by E-Transfer (typically 48-72 hours after your completed shift, depending on the client and project. This can vary)
- Opportunity for long term employment
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
