Construction Labourer – Temporary 

Our clients work at various active construction sites in the Saint John New Brunswick area. We have skilled labour available and unskilled. 

What You Will Be Doing as a Construction Labourer:
  • Assist other trades workers such as contractors, electricians, and painters when necessary
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all job sites
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors, as well as with colleagues
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
  • Load and unload building materials and equipment
  • Dig holes/ditches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
  • Operate and control heavy-duty equipment and machinery (if required – if familiar)
  • Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
  • Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by coworkers
  • Use of hand tools may be required
  • Other duties as required
What You Should Have, as a Construction Labourer:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
  • CSA Approved Safety shoes and hard hat and reflective vest
In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $18.00 - $19.25 per hour (dependent on site and experience)
  • Paid daily
  • Opportunity to be hired permanently
  • 4% vacation pay accrued
The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Night shifts (Monday to Friday)
  • 8:00pm shift starts
