General Labourers - Full time & Part Time
About Our Client
We are currently hiring General Labourers for a production facility near the Grand River. They specialize in turning our recycled paper, into egg cartons and other forms of plates! Be a part of reduce, reuse, recycle in your community!
What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer:
- Operating light machinery (you will be trained)
- Putting materials into machines
- Quality control of the products
- Packaging
- Getting the skids ready for shipping
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a General Labourer:
- Preference to those with light machine operating experience but it is not required
- Minimum of 1 year labourer work
- CSA Safety Shoes/Boots
- Friendly demeanor
- Great at team work
- Very bus accessible!
- GREAT communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to stand on your feet for the entire shift
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Up to $21.00 per hour depending on experience and role
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- Starting as full time for a few weeks while being trained
- Moving to part time (3 days a week)
- 8am to 1pm
- There is a chance of more full time hours but it is not guaranteed
