Delivery Drivers – Temporary 
 
About Our Client
We are currently hiring for full time and casual G license drivers for our client in London. There are a few full time positions available, but most will be casual replacements for sick calls (if you are looking for some extra money). This position is not straight driving – this is loading, unloading and driving to customers in the area with the company vehicle.  
 
What You Will Be Doing, as a Delivery Driver:
  • Meeting at the head office in London, to retrieve your route and schedule for the day. 
  • Load up your 26’ box truck with materials (tires – anywhere from small lawnmower tires to tractor tires)
  • Safely drive to the locations on your route map (southern Ontario)
  • Assist in unloading the orders to the customer’s site. 
  • Return to the head office with your box truck. 
  •  Other duties as assigned 
     
What You Should Have, as a Delivery Driver:
  • Must have a valid G license with a clean drivers abstract (you are to provide that)
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have delivery driving experience, with a box truck. 
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs of tires.
 
In Return, You Will Receive:
  • $21.00 per hour 
  • 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
 
The Shift You Will be Working is:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift (usually starts at 8am and is about 8-10 hours in length)
  • Must be flexible
  • There is a chance for weekend, or afternoon shifts too – they will be offered if they come available.
 
Where You Will Be Working, as a Delivery Driver:
  • London, ON
